Vision

An 18th-century farmhouse near Castelnaudary (Aude department) is being given a new lease of life. The farmhouse is being renovated and 11 very varied houses with terraces and gardens will be built on the grounds in a park-like setting.
Construction is well under way and the project is scheduled for completion by autumn 2008.

 

The development is situated in this beautiful, hilly landscape of vineyards, sunflower fields and little villages, 4 miles south of Castelnaudary.

Domaine de Fontcouverte is situated Approximately 1 mile from the edge of the village Laurabuc.

Castelnaudary is a beautiful and picturesque village on the banks of the Canal du Midi and can be reached within 10 minutes by car.The beaches of the Mediterranean and the ski areas of the Pyrenees are just 1.5-hour drive away. You can also of course sample delicious food and drink, as the region offers traditional regional dishes, such as cassoulet, and the exquisite wines of Languedoc-Roussillon.
