Buying in Canada is similar
to the UK. Payments are staged to coincide with each completed stage of
the construction. The final payment releases the keys, and you will then
be the proud owner of one of these magnificent homes.
Properties which are all freehold and are bought as a
whole but a limited number will also be available on a fractional basis
(also freehold), where you buy a share of a property, usually a quarter,
entitling you to up to 13 weeks use per annum with the specified weeks
rotating on a 4 year calendar cycle to ensure that over that time, you
have a full years coverage over that period.
All transactions are in Canadian dollars, and Canadian
lending rules typically allow up to 65 per cent of the base property cost
to overseas residents, and preferential rates are available to clients
of EAGLES RIDGE.
